We are so excited to introduce our Ruby ring ♥️
Finally adding a pop of colour to our range. Not only do we love all things red but we are in love with the heart behind this piece.
She is more precious than rubies.
Proverbs 31:10
The word 'ruby' comes from the Latin word ruber meaning 'red.' Oriental rubies were considered more valuable than diamonds in the Bible. They were the most precious gemstone and were used to measure worth.
The word precious in Hebrew is Yawar which means 'rare & costly.' This is the our favourite part about Ruby. The ruby's deep hue represents the blood of Jesus. The gemstone signifies the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. It came with a cost. This defines our worth. We remember this every time we wear our ring. ♥️
Two things regarded as more precious than rubies in the Bible are wisdom and a woman of virtuous character. She is faithful, trustworthy, hardworking, generous, strong, dignified, wise, prepared, supportive, resourceful, devoted and reverent. She laughs without fear of the future. These qualities are precious in the Lord's sight. [Proverbs 3 & 31]
Beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Proverbs 31:30
Our worth isn't based on what the world says, what we look like, what we wear, or even our jewellery. Rather godly character, fear of the Lord & inner beauty are more precious. [1 Peter 3:3-4]
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.' 1 Peter 3:3-4
So, Ruby ring is your reminder that you have unending worth and value. You are more precious than rubies because Jesus thought you were worth dying for. What is precious in His sight is a woman of character and wisdom. Seek to be her [forget about the world's standards.]
